As defined by ISO 8402, quality assurance is a systematic approach to ensuring that a product or service consistently meets specified requirements. Our laboratory’s Quality Assurance department is dedicated to this principle, overseeing 25 laboratory processes to deliver the highest quality services to our clients.

Department Responsibilities

Our department is responsible for:

Process Development and Documentation: Establishing and maintaining comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all laboratory processes, aligning them with quality management system requirements and medical laboratory standards.
Compliance Oversight: Ensuring that all laboratory staff adhere strictly to SOPs and that accurate records are maintained for all activities.
Performance Monitoring: Implementing a robust monitoring program, including internal audits, record reviews, and analysis of quality control data, to evaluate the effectiveness of laboratory processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improvement, addressing non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions.
Customer Focus: Understanding and meeting the needs and expectations of our clients by gathering feedback and incorporating it into our processes.
