The cytology laboratory is responsible for the study and examination of the appearance of cells from various parts of the human body to identify abnormal changes and, ultimately, cancerous developments. Samples analyzed in our lab include sputum, abdominal fluid, pleural fluid, joint fluid, fluid from various cysts, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, breast secretions, oral samples, and vaginal samples.

Pap smear test results are provided within a maximum of one week.

Samples such as Thin-prep, Liquidbase, E-prep, and similar types are also examined in this laboratory.
