From its inception, Niloofar Laboratory in Shiraz has prioritized diagnostic services as its core mission. In addition to conducting diagnostic tests, it has actively collaborated in academic and scientific initiatives, offering consultation and testing services for graduate, doctoral, and specialized research projects in medical sciences. The laboratory has participated in various scientific, research, academic, and national projects, notably collaborating with the Reference Health Laboratory, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Medical Equipment Organization. This includes involvement in the evaluation of diagnostic laboratory kits, clinical trials for COVID-19 vaccine development, and a national project on cell therapy for diabetic patients.
The laboratory’s research efforts have resulted in the publication of numerous books and scientific articles. Niloofar Laboratory is dedicated to quality improvement, leveraging the latest knowledge and advanced equipment. Its extensive range of specialized and super-specialized tests has positioned it as a trusted reference center, providing services to over 700 laboratories and hospitals nationwide. Currently, in addition to supporting both private and public laboratories and hospitals, Niloofar Laboratory takes pride in serving medical universities and health centers across the country. Its commitment to excellence has been recognized through the highest laboratory diagnostic standards award from the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, receiving the Quality Certificate for five consecutive years.
